Vendor Research
By Sydney Roth | Lead Coordinator
Research and meet with multiple vendors for catering, flowers, photography, and entertainment. Read reviews and ask for references to ensure quality service. Rely on your coordinator to help you find reputable vendors who they have worked with before and can ensure trust in them for your day to run smoothly.
Stay Organized
Use wedding planning apps or spreadsheets to keep track of tasks, contacts, and expenses. Keep all vendor contracts and important documents in one place and personal inventory lists so you don’t miss anything. Aisle Planner is the robust collaborative tool we love sharing with our couples.
Unique Lighting
Adding unique lighting to your wedding is a great way to elevate your event space. Using twinkling lights for a magical ambiance or colorful uplighting to match your design always adds a fun environment.
Flatlay box
Upon your photographer’s arrival the very first thing they will photograph is your details. This includes your wedding invitation, rings, perfume, vow book, etc. Have a box ready with all of these things so your photographer can set it up fast, shoot it and be able to move on without it taking a lot of time.
Become Comfortable With Your Coordinator
Make sure to pick a coordinator that you feel comfortable with right away. A wedding coordinator will have a certain perspective that will be important for you to have trust in. They also want to be able to have open communication with you to get to know your likes and interests to make sure they know how you want your wedding day to look and feel.
